Industry Loses William Werber, Longtime Insurance Specialist

William (Bill) A. Werber, a commercial insurance broker who served the vending industry, recently passed away in San Diego, Calif., after a battle with cancer.

William (Bill) A. Werber, a commercial insurance broker who served the vending industry, recently passed away in San Diego, Calif., after a battle with cancer. He was 63 and resided in La Mesa, Calif. with his wife, Nancy. Werber served as a broker at Westland Management Services in San Diego, Calif. He also served as a Knowledge Source Partner for the National Automatic Merchandising Association, a risk management adviser to the California Automatic Vendors Council, and a contributing editor to Automatic Merchandiser Magazine.

A memorial service is planned for Jan. 12, 2012 at the Admiral Kidd Club, Naval Base, Point Loma. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bill’s name to San Diego Hospice (sdhospice.org).
