Jim Brinton, president of Evergreen Vending, based out of Tukwila, Wash. announced that the company has relocated its Vancouver, Wash. branch to Portland, Ore.  “We have moved into a beautiful newer facility currently owned and occupied by Courtesy Vending. This facility was designed and built specifically for a vending operation by Courtesy Vending owner Paresh Patel. lt will accommodate the two businesses nicely.  The two different entities (Evergreen Vending and Courtesy Vending) will remain independent except for some shared operating efficiencies that both companies will benefit from.  The two entities will share some management, purchasing, warehousing, etc., which is a strategic cost saving move for both companies. We need to do all we can to be able to remain competitive in a shrinking operator market.  With this facility now hosting over 20 routes, we have begun looking for an experienced branch manager that can oversee this combined facility.  Courtesy Vending’ owner Paresh Patel, has also recently launched a new business; VendScreen. This change will allow him some additional time to be able to focus on his new entity” said Brinton in a prepared statement.
