Canteen Vending Services Inc. acquired North Shore Industrial Vending in Lincolnwood, Ill., near Chicago, from owner and founder Jerry Spathis for an undisclosed sum. Spathis, who founded the company 30 years ago, said his seven routes have been folded into Canteen’s Elmhurst, Ill. Facility.
Spathis said most of his 40 employees joined Canteen, and that he himself will remain on a consulting basis for one year.
