Beaufort County, S.C. Schools Find Students Accept Healthier Foods

The Beaufort County, S.C. school district implemented the Healthier US School Challenge -- part of first lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! campaign -- two years ago, has resulted in overall acceptance by students, as all fried food was eliminated, white flour products were replaced with whole-grain flour, and foods with "minimum nutritional values" were pulled from vending machines, according to The Island Packet in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
