Pacific University Bans Bottled Water

Pacific University, based in Forest Grove, Ore., has banned the sale of bottled water as a result of an effort by students concerned about the plastic bottles’ impact on the environment, according to The Lake Oswego Review in Lake Oswego, Ore.

Most refreshment service operators have not encountered opposition to bottled water due to environmental concerns, despite an attempt by certain environmental organizations to discourage consumers from buying bottled water.
