Department Of Energy Extends Deadline For Energy Compliance Testing For Beverage Vending Machines

The U.S. Department of Energy has extended the deadline for energy compliance testing for bottled or canned beverage vending machines to Aug. 31, 2012, the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) has reported. All manufacturers of bottled or canned beverage vending machines included in this regulation must bring their designs into compliance by the compliance date to continue to distribute them in commerce, NAMA noted.
