Debo Mukherjee has been named chief executive officer of Redco Foods Inc. and will lead Salada Tea, Red Rose Tea, Teekanne Tea and Junket brand dessert mixes.
Mukherjee has more than 20 years of experience in consumer product marketing, global marketing strategies, brand management, new product development and entrepreneurial leadership.

Prior to joining Redco Foods, Mukherjee served as vice president of marketing at General Cigar Co. Inc., a division of the Scandinavian Tobacco Group. At General Cigar, he led a new commercial division and was responsible for optimizing consumer insights and growing current and future brand equities. His career has also included positions at Mars Inc., Slim-Fast, H.J. Heinz Co. and The Hershey Co.
Mukherjee has a master’s degree in business administration from The Pennsylvania State University and bachelor’s degrees from Allegheny College in economics and French. He has also received advanced degrees from the University of London, University of Virginia Darden School of Business, The Sorbonne, Northeastern University and the International School of Tanganyika. He has studied in Brussels, Belgium and Geneva, Switzerland.
