Stu Case Names Chairman Of National Automatic Merchandising Association Coffee, Tea And Water Event

National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) Coffee Service Committee member Stu Case, NCE5, CCS, has been named chairman of NAMA’s Coffee, Tea, &Water 2011 (CT&W), announces Dean Gilland, NCE5, CCS, NAMA vice president sales and service.

When asked about the selection, Gilland said in a prepared statement, “Stu is one of our born leaders. He not only serves on the NAMA coffee service committee and is active in the two state councils -- the California Automatic Vendors Council (CAVC) and Northwest Automatic Vending Association (NAVA) -- but he still finds time to be one of the first people to volunteer his expertise to help us develop new resources for the coffee service community. There’s no question that with his help we can take this event to the next level.”

Case is the northwest vend regional manager for Burdette Beckmann, Inc. (BBI) He’s been in the industry for 30 years, having started Horizon Coffee Service in 1982 and co-founded Pacific Brokerage Co. in 1992, which merged with BBI in 2008. A past president of the California Automatic Vendors Council (CAVC), he was 2005 NAMA Vending Allied Member of the Year.

When asked about the CT&W 2011, Case said in a prepared statement, “This year’s Coffee, Tea, &Water 2011 education and table top event is a must-attend experience for anyone involved in the distribution of coffee, tea and water. We’ve built on the overwhelming success of last year’s event, and there’s no question that CT&W 2011 is going to be even better.”

The event, to be held Oct. 18 to 20, at the Bally’s Resort in Las Vegas, features a wide array of powerful speakers, including Ross Colbert of Rabobank, Steven Smith, founder of Tazo Tea and co-founder of Stash Tea, and Jeb Blount, of SalesGravy.com and best- selling author of “People Buy You.”
