Next Generation Vending And Food Service Inc. Sells Manual Foodservice Division To Lessing's

Next Generation Vending and Food Service Inc., the Canton, Mass.-based vending and foodservice operation, has sold its manual foodservice division to Lessing's, a foodservice and hospitality company based in Great River, N.Y. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

With this acquisition, Lessing's claims it will add nearly 80 college and business accounts throughout Upstate New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

"We look forward to showcasing our talents in the new accounts," said Michael Lessing, chief operating officer of Lessing's, in a prepared statement. "Our commitment to using the freshest ingredients and providing first class service is unwavering. Our team delivers a dining experience that customers enjoy and appreciate and we are excited about serving new customers and clients with Lessing's personal touch."
Dave MacIsaac, chairman and CEO of Next Generation Vending and Food Service Inc., said his company continues to operate a commissary but no longer has a manual feeding operation.

John Ioannou, president of Next Generation Vending and Food Service, will leave the company, MacIsaac noted. MacIsaac remains chairman and CEO and Joe Rogan remains chief operating officer.

"We have always been proud of our excellent service but we have chosen to refocus our organization solely on vending services," said Rogan in a prepared statement. "With Lessing's, the customers will continue to enjoy great food and service, operated by a well-respected hospitality company."
