Editor's Insight: Hopefully, Aspen, Colo. will consider adding recycling programs rather than banning a healthy product that many consumers want. If bottled water is outlawed, consumers will seek other beverages, many of which also come in plastic bottles.

The refreshments services industry in Aspen should join forces with bottled water retailers and suggest a more aggressive recycling program as an alternative to a ban. 01-11-11 Elliot Maras
