Don Rubenstein, owner of Dr Soda in Pacoima, Calif., has responded to a proposed soda ban in Aspen, Colo. by urging the city council to consider banning products made in China, India and other countries rather than products made in the U.S. Rubenstein notes that banning domestic products costs jobs and tax revenue. Instead, he notes the city should promote recycling.
Rubenstein further notes his company bottles water using recycled bottles.
