New York Health Commissioner Opposes Soda Taxes To Fight Obesity

Dr. Nirav Shah, who was confirmed unanimously by the New York state senate, said Gov. Cuomo's "no new taxes" pledge extends to soda and other sugary drinks "at this time," according to Celeste Katz in her daily blog at The New York Daily News.
