AVT Inc., a manufacturer of digital vending machines, has dropped a lawsuit against author Randall Lane for publishing online stories and a book mentioning that AVT had sold former baseball star Lenny Dykstra $250,000 worth of company stock so the athlete would promote the company in his subscription newsletter distributed through Jim Cramer's The Street.com Website, according to The Press Enterprise in Riverside, Calif.
