Editor's Insight: Obesity lawsuits, by which consumers sue food companies for making them fat, should be outlawed under federal law, not state or local law.

Unless the federal government outlaws these ridiculous lawsuits, opportunistic lawyers will look for states that allow them to fleece food companies.
