Mike Tompkins of Coffee Products Associates will share his coffee passion and expertise at the two-day workshop during the NAMA OneShowSM, the industry event featuring the hottest products and latest technology which will be held in Chicago at McCormick Place North Wednesday through Friday, April 27 to 29.

The brewing fundamentals workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, and coffee fundamentals will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 27. The workshops are sponsored by Folgers with in-kind sponsors Newco Enterprises and Everpure LLC.

Attendees to this popular program will learn to rely on their sense of smell, taste and sight during the coffee tasting exercises and gain a fundamental but extensive understanding of coffee production and manufacturing.

Also, for those with a dedicated tea program, you will learn tea facts and insights on how tea can increase a company's profitability.

Advance registration for the QCCP is required. Each session is $250, but participants can attend both brewing fundamentals and coffee fundamental for only $450 by signing up for both. Completing the sessions make participants eligible to apply for the Certified Coffee Specialist (CCS) certification.

"I encourage you to call me and I will email you the application so you can take advantage of these few scholarships that we have to offer. The QCCP is vital if you want to keep your coffee-loving customers happy in this highly competitive market," concluded Stewart.
