Editor's Insight: Refreshment service operators cannot afford to be complacent about this proposal, even if the state senate president says it is not going to get a hearing. The vending, coffee service and water service associations must work with the state beverage organization and make sure the lawmakers recognize that a bottled water tax will create unneeded hardships for consumers and businesses.
