Michigan State Basketball Coach Tom Izzo To Host Industry Awards At National Automatic Merchandising Association OneShow

Legendary Basketball Coach Tom Izzo of Michigan State University (MSU) and NCAA fame will host the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) industry awards ceremony at the OneShowSM in Chicago in April.

The awards recognize deserving individuals and companies for professional achievements in vending, coffee service and foodservice management. They will be given at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28 at a high energy program on Center State right on the trade show floor during NAMA's OneShow, which will be held Wednesday through Friday, April 27 to 29, at Chicago's McCormick Place North.

According to records, Coach Izzo is the longest tenured coach in the Big Ten Conference and is a four time Coach of the Year. His MSU basketball team has been invited to 13 consecutive NCAA tournaments, in addition to setting the Big Ten record for the longest home winning streak. His motto is "Players Play—Tough Players Win." It is believed that Coach Izzo is so successful because he is able to take young talents and develop their skills.

The industry awards program is an excellent opportunity to meet and congratulate our industry's brightest stars, enjoy entertainment, and socialize with friends and colleagues.
