South Carolina Vending Association Retains Association Management

The South Carolina Vending Association (SCVA) board of directors unanimously approved an extension of their management agreement with IMI Association Executives Inc., the association management company that has served the association for the past 13 years. Courtney Spear serves as the SCVA executive director.

SCVA President John Ripley of R&T Vending in North Charleston, S.C., said in a prepared statement, "This decision was wholeheartedly endorsed by the board and is based on past service history and the confidence that IMI can continue to provide the leadership to sustain and build on the growth and success of the association into the future."

SCVA is making plans to host it 24th Annual Winter Training Conference in Charleston during January 2012. The Winter Conference attracts between 150 to 175 operators and suppliers to Charleston each year for three days of training on both industry-specific topics and general management issues.
