NCR Corp., competing with Coinstar Inc.'s Redbox DVD-rental kiosks, is offering its Blockbuster branded DVD machines to retailers as a way to sell discs and free up shelf space in stores, according to Bloomberg News.

Editor's Insight: This is an interesting marketing strategy by NCR, but count me among the skeptics. The rental kiosk will allow some retailers to free up space.
