Herr Foods Inc., has been awarded the safe quality food (SQF) level 3 certification. SQF Level 3 is a world recognized quality and safety certification program. The SQF certification program is one of the few such programs endorsed by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) for primary production as well as manufacturing, food storage and distribution, and agents/brokers.

The Herr's SQF Level 3 certification is the culmination of 15 months of intense preparation and training by the Herr's quality assurance, maintenance, sanitation and warehouse personnel. The certification assures Herr's customers that the food has been produced, processed, prepared and handled according to the highest possible standards at all levels of the supply chain.

Though the SQF program is designed as a food safety system, it is the only certification plan of its kind that offers special recognition for product quality. The SQF code incorporates both regulatory requirements and customer specifications, providing Herr's customers proof of Herr's commitment to producing safe, quality food.
