Ice House America is looking to expand its footprint in Arizona by installing as many as 40 freestanding ice vending machine units in Maricopa County, according to AZ Central. There are currently 2,000 units across the U.S. and 17 locations in Maricopa County.
Last year VendingMarketWatch.com reported that Ice House America was looking to expand franchises in the Northeast, Midwest and West. The ice vending machine creates fresh ice throughout the day, accepts cash, credit and mobile payments, can be monitored remotely and eliminates transportation costs.
