Three Sentenced To Jail Time For Ad Scam On Vending Machines

Three people were sentenced to prison for a “Ponzi” scheme involving Ad Toppers, a non-existent device that they claimed displayed advertisements on automatic teller machines and vending machines, according to Courthouse News. In addition to time in federal prison, those involved were also ordered to pay a total of $27.4 million in restitution. Full article.
