"Bubble Gum Burglar" Arrested After Video Surveillance Records Multiple Thefts

WTXL Tallahassee reports that a man dubbed the "Bubble Gum Burglar" is behind bars after burglarizing multiple vending machines at Georgia Industries for the Blind and Elberta Crate. He was arrested by Bainbridge Public Safety after video surveillance showed him breaking into gum and vending machines at both locations. After his arrest, he confessed to burglaries at several other area locations including the City of Bainbridge Public Work Building, Lee Merchant Signs and Bainbridge Church of God.
