Vagabond, the mobile vending operations platform, announced the release of its new Vagabond 1.2 mobile application onto the iTunes and Google Play app stores. The latest version enables any person with an Android device to download the Vagabond application onto their mobile phone or tablet. Vagabond 1.2, in addition to Android compatibility, includes upgrades that further enhance the day-to-day mobile experience for vending operators, drivers and warehouse teams. Primarily focused on the mobile piece of the application, the new release forms the foundation for substantial web-based developments planned for release in conjunction with the NAMA OneShow in late April.

Vagabond, a cloud-based mobile software, allows vending operators to manage their operations from the touch of a button. Vagabond tracks sales in real time and allows the vending operator to view the current fill status of each machine at any point in time. Vagabond displays exactly how much of each product is needed to pack/fill a machine and also manages inventory. Using Vagabond, customers reduce their labor requirements by 30 to 40 percent and reduce their inventory carry requirement by about 20 percent. The time between visits to machines increases by 50 percent to 100 percent. Vagabond provides the exact amount of each product sold from machines and calculates the gross profit from the operation.
