Reunion Island Coffee announced that they are extending their popular Authentic Donut Shop Blend with their new Original Dark blend in portion packages. In response to this demand, the company is introducing Donut Shop Original Dark in 2 and 2.5 ounce portion packages (42/cs). Original Dark offers a bold cup and full body that balances smoky notes with smooth flavor. Reunion Island has also announced plans for a fall launch of Original Dark and Decaffeinated in the Authentic Donut Shop single-cup pod format. These products will join the existing family of Donut Shop coffees in portion packages, whole bean, bulk ground, filterpacks and single cup pods for offices and hospitality.

Sourced from a progressive, Rainforest Alliance certified producer group in Brazil’s fertile Minas Gerais region, the coffee has the character to maintain its exceptional taste and aroma through the decaffeination process. To create a sustainable decaffeinated coffee that doesn’t compromise taste, Reunion Island selected the patented Swiss Water process to remove the caffeine without the use of chemicals. The result is a rich, aromatic coffee that offers decaf drinkers a deliciously satisfying coffee experience.
