NAMA Premier Zone

The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) Premiere Zone features the latest products in vending, coffee service and foodservice. Food, beverages, parts, equipment and full-size vending machines were displayed with booth information at the entrance to the show floor at the National Automatic Merchandising Association’s Spring 2007 Expo.

The new Proex Inc. sandwich and hoagie containers are designed to better showcase quality sandwiches and wraps. Modeled after more traditional foodservice containers with a black bottom and clear domed top, this package is microwaveable and quick to assemble with a sure locking mechanism. In conjunction with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star Program, the Cadmus Group and USA Technologies are working with vending repair centers to rebuild old machines with new parts, making them Energy Star efficient. A limited number of models have already been tested with new USA Technologies’ VM2iQ devices that, once added, lower a vending machine’s energy consumption, allowing it to carry the Energy Star logo.
