Operators Explore a World of Innovation at Spring Expo

May 1, 2008
Convention Spotlight: NAMA 2008

Operators looking for product, equipment and technology innovations had plenty to see at the National Automatic Merchandising Association’s 2008 Spring Expo at the Mandalay Bay Exposition Center in Las Vegas.

Many of the new vendible products sported NAMA’s orange and green Fit Pick stickers for healthier food choices, part of the Balanced for Life Program. Many attendees were looking for new products to try, especially for locations asking for healthy items.

Technology innovations included cashless readers, remote management software and hardware, digital signage imbedded in video screens, and more.

Educational sessions covered everything from improving profitability to motivating employees to understanding consumer trends.
