The 56th annual Atlantic Coast Expo (ACE) promises a collection of the old and new, starting with a new venue in 2010, the Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Scheduled for Oct. 14 to 16, events will kick off with a golf tournament after the association meetings. More than 40 exhibitors are planning to attend, with some new names such as LightSpeed, Apriva, and Zapp’s Potato Chips.
Education takes center stage
In 2010, ACE is expanding its educational programming to six hours, focusing on operator concerns about effects of the economy and the ability to remain profitable. ACE is also reviving the awards breakfast, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16, and keynote address, which will be given by Dennis Hogan, chief executive officer of Canteen Vending Services Inc.
