Sodexo’s InReach acquires Legend Food Service

This addition will strengthen the InReach footprint in the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia markets, adding approximately 35 additional employees while offering micro markets, vending, pantry, office coffee, water and fresh food.

Sodexo’s InReach, the global foodservice leader’s multimarket convenience solution, announced the acquisition of Legend Food Service’s Linthicum Heights, Maryland, branch. This addition will strengthen the InReach footprint in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia markets, adding approximately 35 additional employees while offering micro markets, vending, pantry, office coffee, water and fresh food.

"Their addition brings significant strength to our presence in the DMV region, bolstering our expansion efforts in this dynamic market. With their expertise, we're confident in our ability to reach our revenue target of $500 million. The Legend team's prowess will be instrumental in shaping our strategic approach within this market."

Legend Food Service was founded in 2017 with one branch in Connecticut and quickly expanded into the Mid-Atlantic region, soon becoming one of the largest providers in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia market.
